Avants latest song is a cover of the Frankie Beverly & Maze song "Joy & Pain". Now you may not know much if anything about Frankie Beverly or Maze but i can bet your parents do. They were responsible for hits like "Joy & Pain" "Before I Let Go" and "Southern Girl" in the 1970's . I personally love when todays R&B artist pay tribute to those who paved the way for them by doing covers of their classics.
